Client Manager (Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover)

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join Cygnia Logistics as a Client Manager at our DC7 site in Swan Valley, Northampton. This position is for a fixed term period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for an experienced Client Manager to work within our multi-customer site. You will be based at our DC7 site, supported by a team of hardworking, dedicated colleagues, ensuring our customer relationship remains of the highest standard.

You will report directly into the Sales and Marketing Director, while focusing on ensuring the clients’ interests are managed within the business, and that the businesses commercial performance is aligned with expectations.

The role will deal with escalated issue resolution, monitoring of performance for the client, monthly reviews and managing the ongoing relationship with the Client.

In your role as Client Manager you will be responsible for:

·Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
·Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services.
·Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients.
·Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
·Achieving client relationship targets and KPI’s as set by the Company.
·Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
·Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues as well as working closely with Operations to resolve those issues.
·Updating the admin team and ensuring administrators/planning manager/GMs are aware of changes within clients.
·Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.
·Cross checking the Customers’ invoices to ensure all activities are captured and the profit margins are met at all times highlighting areas for concern.
·Working closely with the client to obtain detailed forecasts to support operational planning.
·Ensuring issues are raised and dealt with in a timely fashion.

Our ideal candidate will have:

·Proven managing of customer relationships
·Experience within a Client facing role
·Reporting on performance
·Experience within a sales/client management role would be advantageous
·Understanding of forecasting
·Strong communication skills
