We are looking for a highly motivated solutions engineer, a self-starter who will thrive as part of a passionate and growing team that has built a strong reputation for creating innovative solutions that span UK and international markets.
Reporting into the sales director, you will be an experienced solutions engineer from an in-house or 3PL business, with a strong warehousing element.
This is a key customer facing role where the successful candidate will support new business opportunities by working closely with prospects to analyse their data and design commercially attractive and innovative proposals for their B2B and B2C requirements.
Working within the sales function, the job will also involve the preparation of fully worked up proposals incorporating detailed costing, warehouse layout, process flow, labour requirement, shift patterns and the proposed carrier solution.
Energetic and enthusiastic, with good influencing skills, you will be an ambitious solutions engineer that is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Confident and articulate, with a keen sense of detail and good levels of emotional intelligence, you will have strong customer facing and analytical skills. Experience with CLASS, AutoCAd or similar is desirable but not essential.
