Cygnia signs up to provide opportunities to ex-forces families

Cygnia Logistics is committed to investing in its people and passionate about creating long-term opportunities for its team.  As a company that delivers for many high-profile, consumer, e-commerce and retail brands, we take the role of protecting brands and helping them grow their business, extremely seriously. Our people are at the heart of our success and our growth and that’s why we have now joined the Forces Logistics Northampton Group.

We know from experience that ex-military personnel can bring a wide range of skills to the business. Our operations manager, Adrian Austin, and planning manager, Laura McSherry, both have military backgrounds and are actively supporting Cygnia’s ambitions to bring more ex-forces personnel into our Northamptonshire-based operations.

They spoke about the opportunities available for those leaving the forces – what it’s like to make the transition into civilian roles and why logistics is an attractive proposition – on BBC Radio Northampton on Sunday (2 hours 15 minutes into show).

Our team is at the heart of what we do.  Their growth is one of our biggest investments. We offer structured training and development, recognised qualifications, apprenticeships and great benefits such as childcare vouchers, cycle to work, flexible working and a staff incentive scheme. We are looking forward to seeing how closer ties with Forces Logistics Northampton will benefit both the ex-forces community and our business.
